Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Update

As many of our generous sponsors remain closed, or have just recently reopened, we have decided to cancel our our three-day, in- person event scheduled for late June 2020.  They have been key to our success in generating more than $24,000 in support for the Literacy Network over the past four years.  Check out our Sponsors Tab and support them when you can as our economy reopens.

As a family, we will definitely miss the opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new ones during our annual event at Clough Crossings.  However, the important work of the Literacy Network remains in place, and for those who are able, please consider using any of the Donate buttons on our website to continue your support of their important work of improving both childhood and adult literacy in our community.

We'll see you next year at Dan's 3-Putt for Literacy 6.0 back at Clough Crossings !!!    As always, thanks for your support.

In his work as a 3rd Grade Reading textbook editor, Dan believed that the ability to read opened the doors to all other opportunities in life.  Our mission with Dan’s 3-Putt for Literacy is to continue his quest to promote early childhood and adult  literacy by using the proceeds from our events to support the

Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati.

We invite you to join in that support.

Although we have cancelled our in-person event for 2020, thanks to everyone for their online and in-person support of last year's 4th Annual Dan's 3-Putt for Literacy event.  As a result of your incredible generosity, we raised more than $9,000 last year, for a total of more than $24,000 for  the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati.

Let the Literacy Network connect you to an enjoyable, convenient, and immensely rewarding volunteer opportunity. You can volunteer to tutor children or adults

for 30 minutes a week and help

change a life!

The Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati champions the development of literacy in the individual, the family, the workplace, the school, and the community by raising awareness, improving access, and serving as a catalyst for literacy efforts.

A shocking 400,000 people in the Greater Cincinnati area are illiterate. We are a nonprofit organization that serves as the contact center for literacy programs in the tri-state area. Our service area includes eight counties that works with more than 60 literacy programs. We also work with a coalition of more than 100 provider agencies and more than 30 schools to improve lives throughout the region.
